More specific information about the RSB Dunnage Bag

The RSB Dunnage Bag now being introduced, is primarily intended as an alternative to paper bags, however its high quality and life time expectancy also makes it a good alternative to other, more expensive dunnage bags.

The RSB dunnage bag is manufactured from a polypropylene tarpaulin fabric with a replaceable inner polythylene cushion. As the inner bags are worn out, they can easily be replaced.

The cost of a RSB dunnage bag is approximately the same as for a paper bag, however with a significantly longer life time expectancy, which alone ensures significant cost savings. Normally one would expect that a worn bag is replaced at a fixed replacement cost. This is exactly where the advantage of the RSB dunnage bag becomes apparent. The inner bag can be replaced at a cost of about only 50% of the price of a complete new bag. As the inner bag can be changed between 2 and 4 times before the outer bag also needs replacing, one can easily see that this will give significant cost savings.

The RSB dunnage bag is manufactured from plastic materials which makes it sustainable to water and moisture. With a air tight inner bag and an outer protection bag, the RSB dunnage bag will not be as sensitive to sharp edges as will be the case for paper bags.

The RSB dunnage bag comes in three different qualities corresponding to 2-, 4- and 6-ply paper bags respectively, and in several different standard sizes. At the same time flexible manufacturing procedures make it possible to produce special designs to cover for instance complete walls.

The RSB dunnage bag is at the same time an environmental friendly alternative as all parts are 100% recyclable.
